About the Program

The Industry Training Program and associated upskilling content is offered on behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia – through the various Industry Sector Councils – to assist employers, employees, and provincial job seekers in acquiring valuable skills.

Owners and

Managers

Owners and managers can access and assign training from the library of free upskilling programs offered through the participating Sector Council.

Employees

Take advantage of the available training proactively or as assigned by their employer- whether online, in-person, or virtually – to obtain valuable skills.

Job

Seekers

Add relevant skills and valuable credentials to their toolkit and resume, thereby differentiating themselves in a competitive job market.

This free online program, available through most of the industry sector council marketplaces, offers four impactful course modules to help you or your employees develop effective negotiation skills.

Optimizing Team Performance*

Managing diverse teams is challenging. This free online program contains five courses that offer value to managers, and team members themselves, in optimizing team interactions, performance, and results.
